Valentine's Day is my absolute favorite holiday and I love decking out the house. Our favorite time of year is the Valentine craft season. The weather keeps us indoors more...so we pull out our craft supplies and start creating handmade holiday kids crafts for family and friends. Here is a collection of some of our Valentine craft favorites.
Its a count down to Valentine and we have filled our Valentine pages with lots of easy crafts ideas and Valentine inspiration.

 

Over the years, we have made simple and fun Valentine's Day crafts for kids including Love Bugs with thumbprints and glitter glue, Heart Head bands, valentine pocket plates, and tons of creative classroom valentines. I’ve found it is always a good idea to have a simple, seasonal craft project in mind when you have a group of kids for a holiday. It brings them together and adds an element of tradition to the festivities. The holidays should be about creating positive lifelong memories.
While your children may not be able to participate in much of the cooking of Valentine dinner for mom and dad or purchasing Valentine gifts, you can put them to use by allowing them to decorate the house in anticipation with handmade Valentine crafts. Our tradition is to set up a craft table with several different projects the weekend before Valentine's day. We use those crafts as presents for teachers, family and decorations for our home.

Here have provided you simple printable instructions with photos of each project so children as young as four can complete the tasks without too much adult assistance.
