Valentine's Day Panda Mailbox

Yes there are a lot of other valentine's mailbox but here's one for your Valentine Panda Lover. The base is made from a cereal box and it can easily be adapted into a teddy bear as well. Here's your panda bear valentine printable template.

 

Fun and Unique Valentine's Day gifts at Hearthsong!

 

You will need

Cereal Box
Scissors
Printable template of panda face
black construction paper
green construction paper (two shades if possible)
glue

WHAT TO DO:

Print the Panda Template cut around image
Cut a cereal box down half way on the front and two thirds way down on the back.
Wrap the front of your box with black construction paper
Cut fringe on the edge of your green construction papers. Using darker green cut bamboo leaves, to complement the lighter green.
Glue green construction paper to the to box, layer so that they can both be seen
Glue panda template on top of the green construction paper allowing some of the green frindged edge to show through (for the bamboo forest)

We placed a piece of the green at the front of the box cutting out a handprint on the stalk to look as if the panda was holding some bamboo. (You could also put a heart on the front and have the panda holidng a valentine heart instead)
