Christmas Candles.

Soap candle

 

    * Felt Squares ( Yellow, Red, Orange)

    * White wash Cloth

    * Ivory Bar of Soap

    * Black Chenille Pipe cleaner

    * Red Tulle (proximately 2 yards)

    * Straight Pins

 

Instructions

   Fold face cloth in half.

   Place Black pipe cleaner at edge of face cloth.

   Roll the face cloth with the pipe cleaner inside.  Keep the folded edge at the top.

   Unwrap bar of ivory soap.

   Attach face cloth to soap with straight pins.

   Trim pipe cleaner to desire length.

   Cut out 2 flame shapes from the felt square using the sample as a guide.

   Glue the flame shapes together sandwiching the pipe cleaner in the middle.

   Wrap Tulle around base, tie with a bow.

Materials

a clear candle votive holder

small candle or battery operated votive

doily

gold spray paint (better yet a gold doily will save you some time)

Small red bow

Instructions

Cut the doily to size and wrap it around the candle holder.

Attach a simple red (or green) bow

Its an attractive present or can be added to a table arrangement.
